The short version
We only use your details to give you a price and do your job. We don't sell them, we don't use them for advertising, and this website doesn't use cookies or trackers.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote on this website, we get your name, phone number, town, and a description of what needs clearing. The quote form doesn't save anything on this website. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, and nothing reaches us until you press send.
When you text, call or email us, we get your phone number or email address, your message, and any photos you send. Photos may show parts of your home, garage or yard.
Like almost every website, when you visit this one your browser shares basic technical details with the company that hosts it, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. The host keeps these in standard server logs. The page also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use it
- To give you a price and answer your questions.
- To arrange a time, do the job, and follow up about it.
- To keep the records a business normally keeps, such as invoices.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Google Workspace, our email provider, stores the emails you send us.
- Our website host keeps the standard server logs described above.
- Google Fonts receives your IP address when the page loads its fonts.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with, for example in response to a court order.
We don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to price and do your job and to keep normal business records. After that, we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email removal@dashitjunk.com or call (805) 400-3167. We may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. We don't let other companies track you across websites through this one. Because we don't track you, the Do Not Track setting in your browser doesn't change anything here.
Children
This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care with your information. Email and text messages aren't completely secure, so please don't send anything sensitive through them, such as a payment card number.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
